The Vintage White Lace Dress
Over the weekend I spotted Sam of Could I Have That in this perfect white lace maxi dress, and I thought – “Wow, I adore that dress!” Also, I thought – please let me look as fabulous as Sam’s grandmother when I too, am 91 years old.
I love the vintage feel of a long lace dress and likely because we all conjure up images of the big day when picturing a floor-sweeping white dress, even the simplest of it’s kind evoke a romantic feel.
Textiles: Hit & Miss
I LIKE THE IDEA OF TEXTILE CLOTHING FOR SPRING BUT AT THE SAME TIME IT COULD SEEM VERY DIFFICULT TO MIX AND MATCH THINGS TOGETHER UNLESS YOU ARE VERY DARING WITH YOUR CLOTHING. I WOULD NOT WANT TO WEAR A REGULAR PLAIN ONE COLORED T-SHIRT BECAUSE THE ONLY TIME I DO THAT NOW IS IF ITS AN OFF BASED WHITE SHIRT. I WOUD LOVE TO HAVE SOMETHING THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT TOGETHER WITH THE TEXTILE CLOTHING. FOR EXAMPLE, I WOULD PAIR TOGETHER SOME PEACHY-PINK PAIRS OF BELLE BOTTOM TEXTILE PANTS WITH SOME NUDE WEDES WITH SOME STUDDS, A CREAM FLOWY BLOUSE, AND MAYBE A NAVY BLAZER OR A CARDIGAN. IF ONLY I HAD A JOB WHERE I COULD SPEND MONEY WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT MAKING UP FOR THE ONE OUTFIT I BOUGHT. I THINK TRENDS THIS SPRING, BECAUSE ITS A NEW YEAR, ARE GOING TO BE AMAZING AND I LOOK FORWARD TO THE LOOKING AT THE TREND SETTER’S NEW OUTFITS.
Nails Are Accessories Too!
Nowadays women are taking accessories to the next level weather it be with statement necklaces or bulk jewelry. now women have started a new trend having to do with hime nail art. i like the trend of women being able to express themselves now with taking it to the next level with nails. some people think that just adding a little glitter is a bit of a statement but thats nothing compared to what do now. they put gems on their nails, pendent pieces and some people even get extended nail pieces that you put over your nail that looks almost like a fake finger. they first time i seen statement nails they looked like they would be very hard to maneuver with but now i understand that not everyone would get them. for example, sporty girls wouldn’t mind getting a french manicure like any other girl but a sporty girl most likely would not get statement nails.
H & M
I love the idea that Armani is now having a line put into the store H&M. H&M is such a trendy store with great low prices. with a new line of clothes entering the store, i am sure that now they will be getting even more customers. H&M to me is like Forever 21 except for older women because their selection in clothing is more suiting to adults. At the same a young lady, like a 15 year old, could go into the store and immediately spot at least five things she sees that she likes. me personally, I’m fifteen and i go into an H&M I can find something because they have sales everyday it seems because they are always making mark-downs on items. As opposed to Forever 21 where not always I can find something every time in the store that i have to have.
Goodwill Hunting
I love the idea of saving money and looking cute at the same time. going the thrift shopping and doing D-I-Y (do it yourself) projects that way you know that whatever you make, no one else will have it. Recently i went to a Goodwill and the items that they had were like vintage Levis and a vintage Levi jacket. Anyone who knows me knows that I am obsessed with Levis and I’m really liking the trend of vintage clothing and my brother, being older than me, is really into clothing too so we spent about and hour in there and got a combination of clothes for under 70 dollars. I love that fashion can be recycled but I hate the fact that smart buyers that are into fashion would get judged for it. Whenever look at the price tag of something, the first thing I think about is how bad I want it or if I just cant live without it . 
Scarves for Winter
Another person I’m following CinZilicious blogged about scarves during the winter time and I love scarves personally because they add sort of a nice pop to an outfit and even a hairstyle. I have worn about 5 scarves for fashion throughout my whole life and would wear another one in a quick second. but the thing is to me is that you dont want your look to be back to back like your copying your self over and over again. i love the new trends of animal prints coming in style. for instense, i love the cheetah prints.
Hotness
The newest blogger im following had photos of the singer Rihanna on her blog and i couldn’t help but reblog about her. I have always loved Rihanna’s style and music so when i seen these newest pictures of her I just had to examine almost everyy detail of her outfit. I love the outfit of her with a casual button up shirt, floral looking toned down skirt, and nude open-toe booties. I love how her look is simple yet well put together and taylored. The colors blend well together and make it so any tone of accessory she wanted to wear would go good with it. Rihanna always knows how to wear an outfit.
International
Im following a new blogger who was blogging about international fashion. I love the idea of fashion being worldwide instead of just in America. I think its amazing how different countries and cultures have a different insight on fashion but in a way, thats one of the things that stitch different soccieties and cultures together. Like many say fashion is forever and it is also universal. It’s amazing that you can get simple clues about a cuntries culture through fashion peices they wear.
Varsity Jackets
A blog that im following called spoiledBROKE! has posted about a new varsity jacket that has come out. A lot of young ladies this year especially have been wearing different brand varsity jackets where you can get pretty much anywhere that sells trendy clothing like Forever 21, H&M, and Macey’s. I think that they’re a great fashion accessory to have for the fall time. And also easy to just put on and wear with jeans, a t-shirt and some sneakers or combat boots. It’s great that these varsity jackets come in various jackets making it possible to wear in any type of season.
